This cutting fluid assists the cutting operation by forming a chemical reaction at the tool tip, producing a compound which will decrease the friction at the cutting edge.
It helps to disperse the heat and chill off the tool tip, preventing softening of the tool and reduction of its cutting power by loss of temper. This also eliminates and minimises distortion or warping of the work. Correct lubrication of the tool and work piece gives the chip proper form and prolongs tool life.
Suitable for draggy material and threading of galvinised piping.
