Usage
Preparation and coating: Remove old coating or wax, grease, polish, etc and clean thoroughly with floor stripper such as T498 Wax Off or T598 Taurastrip Blue. Rinse well and allow to dry. Apply T499 over clean dry floor in even strokes and remove all air bubbles with pulling strokes of a polish applicator. Do not apply a second or third coat until the first coat is completely dry. Apply three coats in total. New floors may require an additional coat as the first coat acts as a sealer.
Maintenance: Heavy surface dirt may be removed with a wet mop and diluted floor wash such as T470 Floorfresh Lavender or T419 Super 8. Spray buffing of heavy traffic areas should be done with a solution of 1 part T499 with 3 parts cold water. Spray a fine mist on a small area ahead of the machine and buff immediately
Stripping: Remove old coating with T498 Wax Off. Wash with clean water and allow to dry. Then recoat as per directions. Badly stripped floors will not recoat well. Ensure floors are properly stripped, cleaned and dried before recoating.
